Job summary

Velocity Recruitment Ltd is recruiting a Site Manager for a £10m cladding remediation project in Norwich. The role involves managing day-to-day site operations, reporting to the Project Manager, coordinating subcontractors and deliveries, and ensuring safety in an occupied building.

Experience on high-rise residential or mixed-use developments, and SMSTS/CSCS with First Aid qualifications are required to succeed. 18-month fixed-term or freelance arrangements may apply.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Site Manager on cladding remediation or external envelope projects.
• Experience on high-rise residential or mixed-use developments.
• Experience working within occupied buildings is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety, quality assurance and site management procedures.
• Excellent subcontractor management and communication skills.
• SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day site operations on a £10m cladding remediation project.
• Report directly to the Project Manager, supporting the successful delivery of the scheme.
• Coordinate subcontractors, site teams and deliveries to maintain programme and quality standards.
• Ensure all health and safety procedures are adhered to, particularly within an occupied building.
• Monitor progress against programme, identifying and resolving any issues as they arise.
• Maintain high standards of quality, workmanship and site documentation.
• Liaise professionally with residents, occupants, stakeholders and the wider project team.
• Ensure works are delivered in accordance with relevant building regulations and cladding remediation requirements.
