Velocity Recruitment is partnering with a reputable main contractor to appoint a Site Manager for a £10m cladding remediation project in Norwich. The role requires overseeing day-to-day operations on a live site within a mixed-use development, reporting to the Project Manager and ensuring safety, quality and schedule adherence.

Applicants should have proven site management experience on cladding or external envelope projects, ideally within occupied buildings, and hold SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Site Manager on cladding remediation, façade or external envelope projects.
• Experience working on high-rise residential or mixed-use developments.
• Experience working within occupied buildings is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety, quality assurance and site management procedures.
• Excellent subcontractor management, communication and organisational skills.
• SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day site operations on a £10m cladding remediation project.
• Report directly to the Project Manager, supporting the successful delivery of the scheme.
• Coordinate subcontractors, site teams and deliveries to maintain programme and quality standards.
• Ensure all health and safety procedures are adhered to, particularly within an occupied building.
• Monitor progress against programme, identifying and resolving any issues as they arise.
• Maintain high standards of quality, workmanship and site documentation.
• Liaise professionally with occupants, stakeholders and the wider project team.
• Ensure works are delivered in accordance with relevant building regulations and cladding remediation requirements.
