Job summary

Richardsonrecruit is seeking a Site Manager for a well-established construction business in Manchester. You will be responsible for managing on-site civil engineering and construction projects, coordinating teams and subcontractors, and ensuring works are delivered safely, to programme and to client requirements.

The role requires experience as a Site Manager in construction or civil engineering, and a valid CSCS Managers and Professionals Card.

Our client is a well-established construction business delivering civil engineering and construction projects.

Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint a Site Manager to join their Construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing construction projects on site, coordinating teams and subcontractors and ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, to programme and in line with client requirements.

Manage and oversee the day-to-day delivery of civil engineering and construction projects.

Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, labour, plant and materials to ensure projects remain on programme.

Liaise with clients, Quantity Surveyors, Construction Directors and other project stakeholders.

Review drawings, designs and technical information, ensuring works are completed to specification.

Carry out site inspections and ensure high standards of health, safety and quality are maintained.
