Henley Chase is seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee subcontractor-led projects across the North of England, including Liverpool, Manchester and Warrington. You will manage multiple small- to mid-sized works, ensure safety, quality and on-time delivery, and coordinate with clients and subcontractors.

Projects typically run 1–3 weeks, with nationwide reach and occasional travel. The package includes £36,000–£42,000 salary, up to 18% bonus, a company car, fuel card and pension.

We are looking for an experienced Site Manager to oversee subcontractor-led projects across the North of England.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone with a background in utilities, drainage, civils or general construction who has a strong focus on health & safety, quality and project progress.

The Role

• Oversee 1-2 projects at any one time.
• Majority of work across Liverpool, Manchester and Warrington.
• Nationwide projects, although staying away is not the norm.
• Home most nights in the majority of cases.
• Projects typically run for 1-3 weeks.
• Project values around £100k.
• Oversee subcontractors rather than directly managing the full project.
• Monitor subcontractor performance and progress.
• Ensure works are delivered safely and to programme.
• Maintain a strong focus on health & safety.
• Carry out site visits and monitor standards.
• Occasional nationwide travel will be required.

Requirements

• Previous Site Management or Site Supervision experience.
• Experience within utilities, drainage, civils or construction.
• Strong understanding of health & safety.
• Experience overseeing subcontractors.
• Good understanding of site progress and programme management.
• Able to work independently across multiple projects.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Willingness to travel when required.
