Alpha Labour and Recruitment is seeking an experienced Civil Engineering Site Manager for a Pudsey, Leeds project. You will take ownership of site delivery, manage health and safety, RAMS, planning and co-ordination of works, labour, plant and subcontractors.

The role requires strong experience in roads, drainage and civils, and familiarity with Tier 1 contractor environments. You will maintain site records and liaise with the Project Manager, engineers, client and subcontractors.

Qualificações

• Requires hands-on site leadership and delivery ownership.
• Experience managing civil works including roads and drainage.
• Experience working with or alongside Tier 1 contractors.
• Strong knowledge of RAMS and site procedures.
• Excellent planning, organisational and communication skills.
• Solid health and safety, planning, documentation and delivery standards.

We're recruiting an experienced Site Manager for a civil engineering project in Pudsey, Leeds, involving access roads, drainage and associated civils works.

This is a great opportunity for a Site Manager who enjoys being hands‑on, taking ownership of site delivery and working as part of a professional project team.

We're particularly interested in candidates with experience working for or alongside Tier 1 contractors, where high standards of health & safety, planning, documentation and delivery are essential.

The role will involve:

• Managing day-to-day site operations
• Health & safety management and compliance
• Preparing, reviewing and implementing RAMS
• Planning and coordinating works, labour, plant and subcontractors
• Supervising site activities and ensuring works are delivered to programme
• Managing subcontractors and site teams
• Maintaining site records and associated paperwork
• Liaising with the Project Manager, engineers, client and subcontractors

Ideally you will have:

• Strong civil engineering Site Management experience
• Previous experience with roads, drainage and civils
• Tier 1 contractor experience
• SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid
• Strong knowledge of RAMS and site procedures
• Good planning, organisational and communication skills
