FFW Site Services Ltd in Yorkshire is seeking an experienced Site Manager with a strong background in road and highway construction to lead site teams and ensure safe, on-time delivery of projects.

You will coordinate subcontractors, plan daily activities, monitor progress and uphold high safety standards, reporting to the Project Manager while maintaining quality records and stakeholder liaison.

Formación

• Proven road and highway construction experience is essential.
• Site management experience within civil engineering or infrastructure projects.
• Experience managing site teams, subcontractors and construction operations.
• Strong understanding of highways construction methods, programmes and site safety.
• Experience delivering projects safely, on time and within budget.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills.
• Valid SMSTS qualification.
• Appropriate CSCS card.
• First Aid at Work.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain site diaries, quality records and project documentation.
• Monitor labour, plant and material requirements.
• Liaise with Project Managers, Engineers and stakeholders.
• Identify and resolve operational issues to maintain progress.

FFW Site Services are working with an established civil engineering contractor seeking an experienced Site Manager with a strong background in road and highway construction to support the delivery of projects across Yorkshire.

This opportunity would suit a hands on Site Manager who takes pride in delivering quality projects, leading site teams and maintaining high standards of safety and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the day to day delivery of civil engineering and highways projects, ensuring works are completed safely, on programme and within budget.
• Coordinate site operatives, subcontractors, plant and materials.

Skills & Experience Required

• Proven road and highway construction experience is essential.
• Previous Site Management experience within civil engineering or infrastructure projects.
• Experience managing site teams, subcontractors and construction operations.
• Strong understanding of highways construction methods, programmes and site safety.
• Experience delivering projects safely, on time and within budget.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills.
• Valid SMSTS qualification.
• Appropriate CSCS card.
• First Aid at Work.
• Full UK driving licence.

Desirable but not essential:

• HNC/HND in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent.
• Temporary Works Supervisor or Coordinator qualification.
• Streetworks / NRSWA.
• Experience working under NEC or JCT contracts.
• Experience delivering drainage, public realm or wider infrastructure schemes.
