Force Contracting Services are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee civil engineering and groundworks at Heysham Nuclear Power Station. This permanent PAYE role offers year-round work and clear progression.

You will manage site operatives and subcontractors, ensure safety standards, coordinate programmes, and liaise with clients and project teams. A strong leadership background and SMSTS/CSCS are required; travel and training are provided.

Qualifications

• SMSTS qualification required.
• Valid CSCS Card required.
• Experience managing civil engineering or groundworks projects.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to organise and manage site activities effectively.

Responsabilités

• Managing site operatives, subcontractors, and plant operators.
• Coordinating daily site activities and ensuring programmes are met.
• Ensuring compliance with health, safety, quality, and environmental standards.
• Delivering site briefings and toolbox talks.
• Liaising with clients, site management, and project teams.
• Monitoring productivity and maintaining site records.
• Supporting delivery of civil engineering works.
• Promoting a strong safety culture on site.
