Job summary

EDF Nuclear Operations is seeking a Contract Manager to own key commercial contracts at Heysham 1 Power Station, driving supplier performance and ensuring safe, reliable electricity. Based on site, you will lead negotiations, build relationships with internal and external partners, and support renewals and future procurement activity while meeting UK residency and security vetting requirements.

Qualifications

• Holding a minimum HNC qualification in a business-related discipline.
• Demonstrable experience working within supply chain environments and performing contract management responsibilities.
• Managing commercial contracts and supplier performance.
• Using Microsoft Office and SAP to support commercial and contract management activities.

Responsibilities

• Managing the performance of key suppliers and contractors against contractual and operational requirements.
• Building productive relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
• Identifying and delivering commercial efficiencies and service improvements across contracts.
• Leading contract negotiations and resolving supplier issues, disputes, and escalations.
• Supporting contract renewals, extensions, close-out activities, and future procurement activity.
