Job summary

Fawkes and Reece is seeking an experienced Site Manager for a major civil engineering project in Essex. Based on site, you will lead day-to-day operations and coordinate safety, quality and programme delivery.

You will manage subcontractors, labour, plant and materials, ensuring works are delivered on time and to the highest standards. SMSTS preferred; rail experience advantageous but not essential; immediate start available.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Site Manager in civil engineering/construction.
• Strong leadership and site management skills.
• SMSTS certification.
• Able to manage subcontractors, labour, plant and materials.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Rail experience advantageous but not essential.
• PTS is not required.
• Immediate start available.

The Role

The successful Site Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day management of site operations, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to programme.

Key requirements:

• Proven experience as a Site Manager within civil engineering/construction
• Strong site management and leadership skills

• Able to manage subcontractors, labour, plant and materials
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Rail experience advantageous but not essential
• PTS is NOT required
• Available for an immediate start
