Job summary

Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services in Thurso is seeking a Site Manager to lead on-site delivery of an asbestos removal contract, build strong client relationships and manage site teams to meet safety, quality and contractual targets.

You will oversee two Asbestos Analysts, coordinate RAMS, audits, budgets and payroll inputs, and drive continuous improvement while ensuring compliance and service excellence for the client.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in people management and team development.
• Strong budgeting, financial controls and resource management.
• Experience delivering against client KPIs and contractual commitments.
• Excellent leadership and negotiation skills to motivate high-performing teams.
• BOHS modules (P402-405) or equivalent qualifications preferred, with 3+ years in the industry.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day on-site delivery of the asbestos removal contract, including RAMS creation and submission.
• Direct line management of two Asbestos Analysts with coaching and development.
• Ensure compliance through audits and alignment with quality, safety and contractual requirements.
• Manage KPIs, labour, budgets, payroll inputs, timesheets and payment information submissions.
• Maintain strong client relationships and drive improvements in service delivery.
