Job summary

Mitie Group plc is seeking a Site Manager to lead the on-site delivery of an asbestos removal contract in Thurso. You will supervise site teams, ensure safe, compliant operations and maintain client satisfaction by delivering against contractual expectations.

Key duties include RAMS creation, managing two analysts, and coordinating with stakeholders to optimise performance while controlling budgets and resources.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in people management, including coaching, mentoring, interviewing and team development.
• Strong budgeting, financial controls and resource management experience.
• Experience managing client relationships and delivering against contractual KPIs.
• Excellent leadership, communication and negotiation skills with ability to motivate teams.
• BOHS proficiency modules (P402, P403, P404, P405) with CC or equivalent RSPH qualifications; 3+ years' industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site delivery of an Asbestos Removal contract, including RAMS and daily records.
• Manage two Asbestos Analysts and develop site teams through coaching and performance management.
• Ensure compliance via audits and alignment with quality, safety and contractual requirements.
• Oversee KPIs, labour, budgets, payroll inputs, invoicing support and payment info submission.
• Maintain strong client relationships as primary contact and drive continuous improvement.
