Job summary

TSR Recruitment Limited in the West Midlands seeks a Site Manager (Social Housing) to lead a retrofit project in Walsall. You will report to a Contracts Manager and coordinate roofing, insulation, windows and solar works on site.

Responsibilities include planning subcontractors, maintaining the schedule, ensuring safety standards and quality checks, and keeping site records up to date. This is a full-time on-site role with an attractive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience as a Site Manager on similar schemes.
• Full UK driving license.
• SMSTS, First Aid and CSCS card are required.

• Oversee works including solar panels, wall insulation, windows, doors and re-roofing.
• Coordinate with tenant liaison officer, Quantity Surveyor, Contracts Manager and site team.
• Plan and manage subcontractors and direct staff.
• Ensure the site programme is followed and issue weekly progress reports.

Salary: £45,000 per annum

Role & Responsibilities

• Manage a social housing site reporting into a visiting Contracts Manager
• Work includes solar panels, wall insulation, windows, doors and re-roofing
• Work closely with the tenant liaison officer, Quantity Surveyor, Contracts manager and site team
• Plan and manage subcontractors and direct staff
• Ensure the site programme is followed and carry out progress reports weekly
• Ensure site materials are ordered within lead times ensuring a constant flow of work
• Carry out site walks ensuring health and safety is followed and carrying out quality checks
• Maintain accurate site records
