Job summary

TSR Recruitment Ltd in Walsall seeks a Site Manager for a social housing project. You will report to a Contracts Manager and oversee works including solar panels, insulation, windows and roofing. Manage subcontractors and site staff, ensuring the programme is followed and progress is reported weekly.

Eligible candidates hold a Full UK driving licence and have SMSTS, First Aid and CSCS qualifications. A company car allowance and 32 days leave enhance the package; the role is a full-time on-site

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience as a Site Manager on similar social housing schemes.
• Valid Full UK driving license is required.
• SMSTS certification is required.
• First Aid training is required.
• CSCS card is required for site access.

Responsibilities

• Manage a social housing site reporting into a visiting Contracts Manager.
• Oversee works including solar panels, wall insulation, windows, doors and re-roofing.
• Coordinate with tenant liaison officer, Quantity Surveyor, Contracts Manager and site team.
• Plan and manage subcontractors and direct staff.
• Ensure the site programme is followed and provide weekly progress reports.
• Order site materials within lead times to maintain workflow.
• Conduct site walks focusing on health and safety and quality checks.
• Maintain accurate site records.

Salary: £45,000 per annum

8am to 5pm Monday to Thursday and 8am to 4.30pm on Friday

Role & Responsibilities

• Manage a social housing site reporting into a visiting Contracts Manager


• Work includes solar panels, wall insulation, windows, doors and re-roofing


• Work closely with the tenant liaison officer, Quantity Surveyor, Contracts manager and site team


• Plan and manage subcontractors and direct staff


• Ensure the site programme is followed and carry out progress reports weekly


• Ensure site materials are ordered within lead times ensuring a constant flow of work


• Carry out site walks ensuring health and safety is followed and carrying out quality checks


• Maintain accurate site records
