Job summary

TSR Recruitment Limited is seeking a diligent Site Manager (Social Housing) in Walsall to oversee retrofit works on a social housing site. The role reports to a visiting Contracts Manager and covers solar panels, insulation, windows, doors and re-roofing. Salary up to £45,000 plus benefits and a structured working week.

The position requires a minimum of 3 years’ experience on similar schemes, a valid UK driving license and core safety qualifications (SMSTS, First Aid, CSCS).

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience as Site Manager on similar schemes.
• Full UK driving license.
• SMSTS, First Aid and CSCS card.

Responsibilities

• Manage a social housing site reporting into a visiting Contracts Manager.
• Work includes solar panels, wall insulation, windows, doors and re-roofing.
• Work closely with the tenant liaison officer, Quantity Surveyor, Contracts manager and site team.
• Plan and manage subcontractors and direct staff.
• Ensure the site programme is followed and carry out progress reports weekly.
• Ensure site materials are ordered within lead times ensuring a constant flow of work.
• Carry out site walks ensuring health and safety is followed and carrying out quality checks.
• Maintain accurate site records.
