Job summary

Connect Central is seeking an experienced Site Manager for fast-track commercial and retail fit-out projects. The role involves managing trades, labour, and subcontractors on site, ensuring safety and programme adherence.

The ideal candidate has a joinery/carpentry background, SMSTS and CSCS cards, and a proven track record on busy retail fit-out sites. Expect a demanding environment requiring strong coordination and leadership on site.

Qualifications

• Ideally from a joinery/carpentry background.
• Proven experience managing trades, labour and subcontractors.
• Previous experience working on fast-track retail fit out projects.
• Strong background in commercial fit out.
• Valid SMSTS & Black CSCS Card.
• Strong Health & Safety knowledge.
• IPAF desirable but not essential.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced site environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate on-site activities and ensure the project programme is met.
• Direct trades, labour and subcontractors to maintain quality and pace.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety policies and_site rules.
• Liaise with client and site team to resolve issues quickly.
