Job summary

CSC Recruitment Ltd is seeking a No.1 Site Manager for a short-term, fast-track Cat A fit-out in South East London. You will take ownership of the site, oversee a small team and coordinate subcontractors to deliver the works on time and to required standards.

The role requires hands-on leadership, extensive health and safety focus, and the ability to report progress to a visiting Project Manager. Start next week on a 4-week contract, paying 275 per day.

Qualifications

• Cat A fit out experience with fast-track delivery.

• Strong subcontractor management and organisational skills.
• SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid certifications.

Responsibilities

No.1 Site Manager - Fast-Track Cat A Fit Out

275 per day 4-week contract Start next week

CSC Recruitment are currently working with an established fit out contractor who are looking for an experienced No.1 Site Manager to oversee a short-term, fast-track commercial fit out project in South East London.

The project is a small Cat A demise scheme within an existing commercial building, involving the construction of a new partition wall and corridor connecting two areas of the building.

This is a hands-on No.1 Site Manager role, with responsibility for running the site independently and reporting directly into a visiting Project Manager.

The Role

• Take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the site
• Manage and coordinate subcontractors and site activities
• Maintain high standards of health, safety and quality
• Coordinate the works programme and ensure the project remains on schedule
• Liaise with the Project Manager and wider project team
• Ensure site paperwork, inductions and compliance requirements are maintained
• Oversee the works through to completion and handover

About You

We are looking for an experienced Site Manager who is comfortable taking ownership of a project and can hit the ground running.

You will ideally have:

• Previous Cat A fit out experience
• Strong experience delivering fast-track commercial fit out projects
• Previous experience running projects as the No.1 Site Manager
• Excellent subcontractor management and organisational skills
• SMSTS
• CSCS
• First Aid
• Asbestos Awareness

The ability to work independently and manage a project from start to finish is essential.
