Civils Site Manager - Salary: £280 - £350 a day (depending on experience)

Project: Infrastructure & Civils

Our client is a leading civil contractor throughout the UK. They have an opportunity for a Site Manager on an infrastructure & civil engineering project based in Slough. This is an 18-month project with the potential to move onto another project upon completion. You will be joining a highly experienced Civil Engineering team that will support and develop your career.

Experience & Qualifications:

1. Minimum of 5 years experience as a Site Manager
2. At least 3 years’ experience working for a groundwork or civil sub-contractor
3. CSCS card
4. SMSTS certification
5. First Aid certification

Responsibilities:

1. Reporting to a Project Manager or visiting Contracts Manager
2. Managing the site team (including Site Engineer, Foreman, Site Operatives)
3. Managing subcontractors
4. Delivering works while ensuring the highest safety standards at all times
5. Writing and reviewing RAMS (Risk Assessments & Method Statements)
6. Communicating with clients' representatives
7. Producing progress reports
