Job Description: Site Manager (Fit out)

Location: London

On behalf of my client, I am actively recruiting for a Site Manager to work on a Grade II Building renovation to a brand new £400M hotel complex in Mafgair. My Client is a multidisciplinary construction/fit out company delivering an abundance of high end projects across Ireland and the UK.

Reporting to the Contracts Manager/Project Manager, the post holder will be responsible for the planning, execution and delivery of a building project. They will also manage and lead other members of the construction team.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Responsible for the co-ordination and control of the project from the design stage, through to completion and the handover of the project to the client.
2. Ensuring timely management of any unforeseen delays.
3. Regular monitoring and liaison with the Contracts Manager/Project Manager on the Master Programme and development of stage/section programmes as required.
4. Liaise with the Contracts Manager/Project Manager to ensure adequate labour and sub-contract resource is available on site utilising the agreed agency list.
5. Day to day management of operations on site, ensuring that the project is brought to a successful completion and meets the required time, budget and quality constraints.
6. Plan and efficiently organise the site facilities and logistics, ensuring all equipment on site is fit for purpose and only operated by appropriately trained staff.

Education / Experience

1. Experience as a lead Site Manager specifically.
2. Detailed previous project list.
3. Driving license.
4. Flexible and positive approach to working hours and various locations throughout the UK and Ireland.
