Job summary

Cornerstone Project Source Ltd in South Wales is seeking a contract Site Manager with strong structural steel experience to lead one site at a time. Start date 26 October 2026 on the Port Talbot site, then move to Margam by December 2026, finishing in March 2027. Duties include safe delivery, coordination, and daily briefings.

The role runs 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM with on-site parking and rates of £300/day with digs or £350/day without digs. Working pattern is one site at a time, until March 2027.

Qualifications

• Strong structural steel experience with site delivery focus.
• CSCS is required along with SMSTS/IOSH certifications.
• Lift Supervisor or higher certification preferred.
• Temporary Works knowledge and First Aid training required.

Responsibilities

• Safe delivery of construction works on site.
• Coordination and reporting to stakeholders.
• Delivering daily briefings to on-site teams.
• Attending site meetings and preparing records.
• Closing NCRs and managing handovers between sites.

A leading structural steel specialist is currently looking for a contract Site Manager with strong structural steel experience in South Wales. The role begins on one site until December 2026, then moves to a second nearby site (approximately 15 minutes away) until March 2027, managing one site at a time.
Start Date: 26th, October 2026
Rate: £300/day plus digs, or £350/day without digs
Contract: Until March 2027 (Port Talbot until December 2026, then Margam until March 2027)
Location: South Wales
Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
