Job summary

Cornerstone Project Source is seeking a contract Site Manager with strong structural steel experience for a South Wales project. Initially one site, then a second nearby site about 15 minutes away, with both runs lasting until March 2027.

The role starts on 26 October 2026, hours 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, with a daily rate of £300 (with digs) or £350 (no digs). You will oversee safe delivery, coordinate reporting, deliver daily briefings, attend site meetings, close NCRs and manage handovers.

Qualifications

• CSCS card is essential for site access.
• SMSTS or equivalent health and safety qualification required.
• Lift Supervisor or higher accreditation is mandatory.
• IOSH or an equivalent safety qualification.
• Experience with temporary works and first aid.
• Demonstrable strong structural steel project experience.

Responsibilities

• Safe delivery of construction works.
• Coordination and reporting across site teams.
• Delivering daily briefings to site personnel.
• Attending site meetings with stakeholders.
• Closing NCRs and ensuring compliance.
• Managing handovers between project phases.
