Job summary

Search is seeking a freelance Site Manager to join an established project team in Guildford, Surrey. The role starts Friday 21st August and runs for one week to cover holiday leave, supervising refurbishment work on occupied properties.

You will oversee the site team, monitor progress, ensure health and safety compliance, and maintain customer care and quality on site. Strong communication and IT skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Health and safety standards must be maintained on site.
• Excellent communication and liaison skills are essential.
• CSCS, SMSTS and First Aid at Work certification required.

SITE MANAGER
GUILDFORD, SURREY
START DATE: FRIDAY 21ST AUGUST
DAY RATE: 270 PER DAY
DURATION: 1 WEEK
This job for a freelance Site Manager joins an established project team on a scheme in Guildford, Surrey to start Friday 21st August for a project duration of 1 week holiday cover. The key responsibility in this role of the Site Manager will be to oversee a scattered kitchen and bathroom refurbishement framework on various occupied properties locally. You will be overseeing the site team, progression of project, health and safety and customer care.

Key skills and experience required:

• Maintaining high levels of health, safety and environmental standards
• Strong communication and liaison skills
• CSCS, SMSTS & First Aid at Work.
• Day to day supervision and co-ordination of on-site staff, subcontractors, plant and materials
• Building and maintaining good relationships across all subcontractors and direct employees
• Maintain strict quality control procedures and conduct regular site safety checks
• Good IT skills including Word, Excel and Outlook
