Job Title: Site Manager - New Build Shed
Location: Northampton
Rate: £280-£300 per day
Contract Type: Freelance
Duration: ASAP start - February

Linsco are currently seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee a new build industrial unit project in Northampton. This is a freelance position, running until February, with an immediate start available.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day site operations, with a strong emphasis on office-based responsibilities such as paperwork, site inductions, health & safety documentation, and progress reporting. Approximately 60-70% of the role will be office-focused, making it ideal for someone highly organised and detail-oriented.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate all site activities in line with the project programme
• Handle all on-site paperwork, including RAMS, permits, and site diaries
• Conduct inductions and toolbox talks
• Ensure compliance with H&S regulations and company policies
• Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and the wider project team
• Report on progress and issues to the project manager

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Site Manager on industrial or commercial new build projects
• Comfortable with office-based duties and documentation
• SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid (in-date certifications)
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage site activity proactively
