Client: Our client is a specialist groundworks and builders work contractor. The business was established 18 months ago by an ex-Director of a multi-million-pound contractor. Turnover is currently at £5 million.

They are a dynamic, growing business. After a successful period of winning work, they are looking to expand their operations team and are seeking a Groundworks Site Manager.

Role: Groundworks Site Manager – Luton - £280 - £300 per day

The successful candidate will manage a £2.6m contract involving the demolition of an existing skate park, installation of new underground drainage, and site leveling and filling, preparing for a new skate park installation.

Responsibilities:

  1. Design Review (scope gaps / clashes)
  2. Short-term programming
  3. Health & Safety (RAMS)
  4. Sub-contractor coordination
  5. Quality Assurance
  6. Liaising with client team and sub-contractors
  7. Progress meetings with sub-contractors

The ideal candidate:

  • Must have SMSTS and First Aid qualifications
  • Experience managing £2m projects previously
  • Client-facing
  • A minimum of 3 years experience in a management role
  • Live locally to the area
