Job summary

Fusion People currently seeks an experienced Site Manager to oversee civil engineering and power infrastructure projects on National Grid and NGED workstreams. The role involves day-to-day site management, safety compliance, and direct supervision of sub-contractors and site teams.

Qualifications

• Strong background in Civil Engineering within the power/utilities sector.
• Proven track record on National Grid and/or NGED substation or overhead line projects.
• SMSTS, CSCS Black/Gold Card, First Aid.
• Full UK driving license and willingness to travel UK-wide (site-based).

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day site operations ensuring safety, quality, and progress targets are met.
• Coordinate civils packages, groundworks, foundations, and cable route installations.
• Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks, risk assessments, and RAMS.
• Interface with client representatives, sub-contractors, and internal project managers.

Package: £65,000 (NEG DOE) + Car/Allowance + Travel Expenses + Benefits

About the Role
