Job summary

Thorn Baker Construction in Manchester is seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee day-to-day on-site activities across North West projects, ensuring safety, quality, and programme delivery.

You will lead subcontractors, manage site teams and maintain client and management communications, with focus on health and safety compliance and project handovers on time.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Site Manager with a UK main contractor.
• Experience delivering new build and refurbishment projects.
• Strong leadership and organisational skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• A sound understanding of current Health & Safety legislation.
• Valid SMSTS, CSCS And First Aid Qualifications.
• A proactive attitude and commitment to delivering projects to a high standard.

Responsibilities

Job Type: Permanent | Full-Time

A well-established and respected regional main contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Site Manager to join its growing North West team.

Working across a range of new build and refurbishment projects within sectors such as education, healthcare, commercial and public sector, you'll play a key role in delivering projects safely, on time and to the highest quality standards.

The Role

As Site Manager, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day management of construction sites, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and within programme.
