Job summary

Thorn Baker Construction is seeking an experienced Site Manager for projects across Leicester and the North West region. You will be responsible for day-to-day management of construction sites, ensuring work is delivered safely, on time and to the highest quality standards.

You'll lead subcontractors and site teams, coordinate logistics, monitor progress and liaise with clients and consultants. A strong focus on health and safety and a proactive attitude are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Site Manager with a UK main contractor.
• Experience delivering new build and refurbishment projects.
• Strong leadership and organisational skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• A sound understanding of current Health & Safety legislation.
• Valid SMSTS, CSCS And First Aid Qualifications.
• A proactive attitude and commitment to delivering projects to a high standard.

Responsibilities

• Manage all on-site activities from start through to completion.

A well-established and respected regional main contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Site Manager to join its growing North West team.

Working across a range of new build and refurbishment projects within sectors such as education, healthcare, commercial and public sector, you'll play a key role in delivering projects safely, on time and to the highest quality standards.

The Role

As Site Manager, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day management of construction sites, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and within programme.
