Job summary

Jobtailor in the United Kingdom is seeking a Site Manager to take overall responsibility for the safe, compliant and efficient running of the site operation, including goods receiving and dispatching in line with the agreed schedule.

You will manage aviation security requirements and warehouse standards, organise resources to maximise operational effectiveness, and report on KPIs and budget within the department.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a Site Manager role, ideally within an airport consignment centre environment.
• Logistics sector experience is essential.
• Experience managing teams, driving performance, and handling disciplinary, absence and grievance processes.
• Commercial and financial acumen, including budget management, resource planning, and delivering operational KPIs.
• Excellent decision‑making, organisational and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to prioritise workloads and perform effectively under pressure.
• Strong communication, reporting and IT skills.
• Proactive approach to Health & Safety and stakeholder management.
• Ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality.
• IOSH qualification desirable
