We are looking for an experienced and motivated Site Manager to join our team and take responsibility for the day-to-day management and coordination of allocated project sites.
This is a hands-on role, responsible for ensuring works are carried out safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards, while supporting the project team in achieving programme and completion targets.
Working closely with the Contracts Manager, clients, subcontractors, suppliers and site teams, you will play a key role in maintaining a well-organised and productive site environment.
Manage the day-to-day site operations on allocated projects.
Ensure all site activities are planned, coordinated and carried out in accordance with the project programme.
Attend site progress meetings and briefings, providing feedback to the Contracts Manager on key issues, actions and progress.
Identify and report any issues that may affect health and safety, programme, quality, productivity or project costs.
Assist the Contracts Manager with monitoring and maintaining the project programme.
Coordinate direct labour and subcontractors to ensure works are completed efficiently and in accordance with the programme.
Monitor subcontractor activities and ensure works are completed to the required standards and timescales.
Coordinate the delivery and availability of materials and products required to maintain progress on site.
Maintain accurate records of site variations, delays and programme issues and report these to the Contracts Manager.
Ensure the site is maintained in a safe, clean and well-organised condition.
Manage day-to-day site health and safety requirements in accordance with the client's Health and Safety Policy and relevant legislation.
Promote a strong health and safety culture across the site.
Support the delivery of projects with a clear focus on achieving a zero-defect handover to the client.
Liaise with clients and their representatives in a professional and proactive manner.
Respond promptly to site enquiries and resolve issues where possible, escalating matters to the Contracts Manager when required.
Build and maintain positive working relationships with clients, subcontractors, suppliers and site personnel.
Ensure site documentation is maintained and kept up to date.
Support site audits, inspections and the implementation of any required corrective actions.
Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, RAMS and project requirements.
Support the Contracts Manager in achieving programme, quality, health and safety and client satisfaction objectives.
We are looking for an organised, proactive and experienced Site Manager who is confident managing day-to-day site operations and coordinating multiple trades and activities.
The successful candidate will ideally have:
Previous experience as a Site Manager or in a similar site-based management role.
Experience within the construction, fit-out or shopfitting environment.
Strong knowledge of site operations and construction processes.
Experience managing direct labour and subcontractors.
A good understanding of construction programmes and project delivery.
A strong understandi
