Job summary

Fortus Recruitment Group Limited in London is recruiting an experienced Site Manager for internal planned maintenance in Southwark. You will manage sub-contractors and direct operatives, lead the site team, and ensure delivery of works to specification on a five-year programme across tower blocks and scattered properties.

Candidates must hold SMSTS, First Aid, CSCS and Asbestos Awareness, plus a full UK driving licence and vehicle.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering internal planned maintenance projects in social housing.
• Valid SMSTS, First Aid, CSCS and Asbestos Awareness required.
• Full UK driving licence and own vehicle required.

Site Manager - Southwark

Internal Planned Maintenance - Social Housing

Up to £55,000 Plus Benefits

Our Client, a construction contractor are currently looking for an experienced site manager to join their planned works division in South London

Projects that are being delivered will be internal planned maintenance. They will be being delivered to tower blocks and scattered properties around Southwark on a 5 year contract.

On a day to day basis, you will act as an integral part of the operational team and carry out the following duties:

• Management of sub-contractors & direct operatives
• Lead the site team to the best of your ability
• Manage delivery of works to specification
• Have several direct reports to manage including RLO's and office staff
• Pre & post inspections of works
• Health & safety & quality checks

My client are looking for someone with strong communication skills and a proven track record managing and delivering internal planned maintenance projects, managing DLOs. A valid SMSTS, First Aid, CSCS, and Asbestos Awareness are required. A full UK Drivers License and your own vehicle is also required for this position.

This is a permanent position which will offer training and development as well as good progression opportunities for the successful candidate.
