Job summary

Fortus Recruitment Group is recruiting a Site Manager for North London on internal planned maintenance projects across tower blocks and scattered properties. You will join a busy team within a long-term framework and oversee delivery to specification while coordinating sub-contractors and office staff.

The role requires SMSTS, First Aid, CSCS and Asbestos Awareness, plus a UK driving licence and own vehicle. It is a permanent position with training and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills and a proven track record delivering planned maintenance projects.
• Experience managing and coordinating sub-contractors and direct operatives.
• Ability to lead a site team and deliver works to specification.

Site Manager - North London

Internal Planned Maintenance - Social Housing

Up to £55,000 Plus Benefits

Our Client, a construction contractor are currently looking for an experienced site manager to join their planned works division on a long term framework. Projects that are being delivered are Internal maintenance projects. They will be being delivered to tower blocks and scattered properties around North London.

On a day to day basis, you will act as an integral part of the operational team and carry out the following duties:

• Management of sub-contractors & direct operatives
• Lead the site team to the best of your ability
• Manage delivery of works to specification
• Have several direct reports to manage including RLO's and office staff
• Pre & post inspections of works
• Health & safety & quality checks

My client are looking for someone with strong communication skills and a proven track record managing and delivering planned maintenance projects. A valid SMSTS, First Aid, CSCS, and Asbestos Awareness are required. A valid UK Drivers License and your own vehicle is also required for this position.

This is a permanent position which will offer training and development as well as good progression opportunities for the successful candidate.
