Job summary

PSR-Solutions is seeking a Site Manager for a permanent role in Leicester with a leading main contractor. You will oversee projects, ensuring safety, programme, budget and quality compliance on design-and-build schemes in government sector work such as hospitals and education facilities.

Key duties include coordinating sub-contractors, maintaining safe site practices, control of costs and programmes, and delivering projects up to £10m-£30m while upholding client expectations and company

Qualifications

• Experience in Construction, especially Design and Build.
• Proven track record delivering Site Manager projects up to £10m-£30m.
• Experience with a main contractor as Site Manager.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Current CSCS, SMSTS and first aid certifications.
• Present a clean, tidy site and understand considerate contractor requirements.

SITE MANAGER MANAGER REQUIRED ON PERMANENT BASIS IN LEICESTER FOR A MAIN CONTRACTOR

I am assisting my client with an exciting opportunity for a Site manager to join a leading main contractor. The business undertake projects in various sectors including specialising in Government sector jobs. e.g Hospitals, Education

As Site Manager you will be responsible for managing projects to ensure the safe completion, in accordance with programme, specification and budget.

Up to £65,000 + Package

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing and maintaining the highest standards of safety
• Contributing to the value engineering and build-ability of the project
• Agreement of programmes and methods of construction with Planners and other appropriate production personnel
• Marshalling of resources for the overall control and execution of the works including the selection of sub-contractors to carry out the works
• Ensuring that key dates, resource requirements, production rates, overhead targets etc., are established, monitored and controlled
• Managingmultidisciplinary teams
• Cost Control
• Establishing and maintaining commercial and financial control systems, procedures and standards which will meet the contractual requirements of the projects

Experience and Qualifications:

• You will ideally have experience of working within the Construction industry, specifically on Design and Build.
• A proven track of success of delivering projects as a Site Manager up to £10m- £30m in value
• You will have experience of working for a main contractor as a Site Manager.
• Good communication verbally and in written form.
• Hold currentCSCS,SMSTSand first aid certification
• Present a clean and tidy site and have a good understanding of the considerate contractor's requirements to achieve high score
