Job summary

PSR Solutions is supporting a Derby-based main contractor to appoint a Site Manager on a permanent basis. You will lead site teams to deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget, across design-and-build schemes in sectors including Government, hospitals and education.

The role requires proven experience as a Site Manager, delivering schemes valued up to £10m-£30m, strong communication, and holding CSCS, SMSTS and first aid.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction, specifically on design and build.
• Proven track record delivering sites up to £10m–£30m.
• Experience with a main contractor.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Current CSCS, SMSTS and first aid certificates.
• Maintain a clean, tidy site and meet considerate contractor requirements.

• Agreement of programmes and methods of construction with Planners and other appropriate production personnel
• Marshalling of resources for the overall control and execution of the works including the selection of sub-contractors to carry out the works

• Managing multi disciplinary teams
• Cost Control
• Establishing and maintaining commercial and financial control systems, procedures and standards which will meet the contractual requirements of the projects

SITE MANAGER MANAGER REQUIRED ON PERMANENT BASIS IN DERBY FOR A MAIN CONTRACTOR

I am assisting my client with an exciting opportunity for a Site manager to join a leading main contractor. The business undertake projects in various sectors including specialising in Government sector jobs. e.g Hospitals, Education

As Site Manager you will be responsible for managing projects to ensure the safe completion, in accordance with programme, specification and budget.

Up to 65,000 + Package

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing and maintaining the highest standards of safety
• Contributing to the value engineering and build-ability of the project
• Agreement of programmes and methods of construction with Planners and other appropriate production personnel

Experience and Qualifications:

• You will ideally have experience of working within the Construction industry, specifically on Design and Build.
• A proven track of success of delivering projects as a Site Manager up to 10m- 30m in value
• You will have experience of working for a main contractor as a Site Manager.
• Good communication verbally and in written form.
• Hold current CSCS, SMSTS and first aid certification
• Present a clean and tidy site and have a good understanding of the considerate contractor's requirements to achieve high score
