Job summary

Psr-Solutions requires a Site Manager for a permanent role in Derby, delivering projects up to £30m across design and build sectors. The candidate will lead safety, planning, and contractor coordination on a main contractor’s scheme and manage multi-disciplinary teams to achieve programme targets.

The role involves cost control, value engineering input, and maintaining commercial controls to meet contractual requirements. Derby-based site with a strong emphasis on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Experience in Construction industry, Design and Build.
• Proven track record delivering projects as Site Manager up to £10m-£30m in value.
• Experience working for a main contractor as a Site Manager.
• CSCS, SMSTS and First Aid certification.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the highest standards of safety on site.
• Contribute to value engineering and build-ability of the project.
• Agree programmes and construction methods with Planners and production personnel.
• Marshal resources for control and execution, including subcontractor selection.
• Ensure key dates, resources, production rates, and overhead targets are met and monitored.
• Manage multidisciplinary teams and cost control.
• Establish and maintain commercial and financial control systems as per contract requirements.

SITE MANAGER MANAGER REQUIRED ON PERMANENT BASIS IN DERBY FOR A MAIN CONTRACTOR

Salary: GBP50000 - GBP65000 per annum

I am assisting my client with an exciting opportunity for a Site manager to join a leading main contractor. The business undertake projects in various sectors including specialising in Government sector jobs. e.g Hospitals, Education

Up to £65,000 + Package

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing and maintaining the highest standards of safety
• Contributing to the value engineering and build-ability of the project
• Agreement of programmes and methods of construction with Planners and other appropriate production personnel
• Marshalling of resources for the overall control and execution of the works including the selection of sub-contractors to carry out the works
• Ensuring that key dates, resource requirements, production rates, overhead targets etc., are established, monitored and controlled
• Managingmultidisciplinary teams
• Cost Control
• Establishing and maintaining commercial and financial control systems, procedures and standards which will meet the contractual requirements of the projects

Experience and Qualifications:

• You will ideally have experience of working within the Construction industry, specifically on Design and Build.
• A proven track of success of delivering projects as a Site Manager up to £10m- £30m in value
• You will have experience of working for a main contractor as a Site Manager.
• Good communication verbally and in written form.
• Hold currentCSCS,SMSTSand first aid certification
• Present a clean and tidy site and have a good understanding of the considerate contractor's requirements to achieve high score
