Job summary

A PLC housebuilder is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead a residential development in Telford. You will take overall responsibility for day-to-day site operations, coordinate subcontractors, manage progress, safety, and quality to deliver high-quality homes on time.

Candidates should have a strong residential background, knowledge of timber frame and traditional build methods, and experience with housing associations and open market projects.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage subcontractors, trades and site labour.
  • Ensure construction works are completed safely, efficiently and to programme.
  • Maintain high standards of build quality throughout the development.
  • Monitor progress and ensure build targets and deadlines are achieved.
  • Coordinate site deliveries, materials and logistics.
  • Ensure all health & safety procedures and site requirements are adhered to.
  • Work closely with the Contracts Manager and wider project team.
  • Monitor workmanship and ensure homes are delivered to the required specification

We are currently seeking an experienced Site Manager to join a new residential housebuilding development in Telford, working on behalf of an established PLC housebuilder.


This is an excellent opportunity for a Site Manager with a strong residential background who has previously worked with a PLC housebuilder and understands the standards and processes involved in delivering high-quality new homes.


Experience working on both Housing Association and Open Market developments would be highly desirable, along with a good understanding of both timber frame and traditional build methods.


Key Responsibilities
