Role: Site Manager

Location: Guildford, Surrey

Rate: £250 - £300 Per day (Dependant on experience

Hours: 07:30 - 17:00 (9.5 hours per day)

Duration: 12 Months

Our client, a leading multidisciplinary main contractor specialising in construction and civil engineering projects across the UK, is currently seeking a Site Manager to join them on a busy site based in Guildford, off site Highways works.

As a Site Manager your duties will be (however not limited to):

• Oversee and manage day-to-day site operations




• Ensure works are carried out safely, on time, and to the required quality standards




• Coordinate with subcontractors, engineers, and local authorities to ensure smooth site activity




• Monitor and enforce health & safety regulations and company procedures




• Maintain accurate site records, reports, and progress updates




• Liaise with project managers and clients, reporting any delays or issues

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Site Manager in civil engineering or highways projects




• 
  Streetworks (NRSWA) certification - essential
  




• 
  EUSR (Energy & Utility Skills Register) categories 3 & 4 - essential
  




• CSCS - Essential




• Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills




• Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure




• Full UK driving licence
