Job summary

A global energy developer is seeking a skilled Site Manager for a contract position in Exeter, England. The successful candidate will manage site activities for a 50MW Solar PV project, ensuring quality, safety, and compliance while coordinating various contractors. Strong expertise in Site Management and solar projects is required. This contract role starts in February 2026 and lasts for 12 months.

Qualifications

  • Proven Site Management experience delivering utility‑scale Solar projects.
  • Experience working alongside EPC and ICP contractors.
  • Strong understanding of civil, mechanical and electrical sequencing on Solar builds.
  • Ability to lead on‑site delivery independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily site activities and coordinate contractor interfaces.
  • Monitor progress against programme and report to the client’s project team.
  • Ensure works are carried out safely and in accordance with contract specifications.
  • Provide site leadership during construction, testing and energisation.
  • Review method statements, RAMS, and ensure adherence to site procedures.

Site Manager (Client Side) - Construction - Renewable Energy - Solar PV - Exeter - England - Contract

A global energy developer is preparing to deliver a 50MW Solar PV project near Exeter and requires an experienced Site Manager to support day‑to‑day delivery through the full construction phase.

This role will act as the client’s on‑site representative, coordinating EPC and ICP contractors and ensuring quality, progress and compliance are maintained from mobilisation through to completion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily site activities and coordinate contractor interfaces
  • Monitor progress against programme and report to the client’s project team
  • Ensure works are carried out safely and in accordance with contract specifications
  • Provide site leadership during construction, testing and energisation
  • Review method statements, RAMS, and ensure adherence to site procedures
