Job summary

Search is seeking a freelance Site Manager for a refurbishment project in Hove. The role covers full management for the week and handover on day one, with the candidate operating as the standalone Site Manager thereafter.

We require CSCS, SMSTS and First Aid at Work, plus strong on-site supervision and excellent HSE practices. You will coordinate staff and subcontractors, ensuring quality and client liaison throughout the project.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and liaison ability.
• CSCS, SMSTS and First Aid at Work qualifications.
• Day-to-day supervision of on-site staff, subcontractors and materials.
• Maintain good relationships with subcontractors and client.

• Proficient in Word, Excel and Outlook.

JOB FREELANCE SITE MANAGER

DURATION 1 WEEK +

RATE £270 PER DAY

This job for a freelance Site Manager takes responsibility for a refurbishment of an occupied residential unit. You will be an experienced Site Manager who is used to taking full management responsibility for all site activity.

You will be managing the project, currently at external stage, involving client liaison and maintaining very high HSE standards. There will be full handover on day one and then working as the stand alone Site Manager for the following week to cover.

Key skills and experience required:

• Maintaining high levels of health, safety and environmental standards


• Strong communication and liaison skills


• CSCS, SMSTS & First Aid at Work


• Day to day supervision and co-ordination of on-site staff, subcontractors, and materials


• Maintaining good relationships across all subcontractors and client


• Maintain strict quality control procedures and conduct regular site safety checks
  
• Strong attention to detail with a keen eye for producing a high-quality finish


• Good IT skills including Word, Excel and Outlook
