Job summary

Arise Recruit is working with an established housebuilder, delivering high-quality homes across the South East. We are appointing three Site Managers in Eastbourne to lead new-build projects ranging from 20 to 80 units, with a large refurbishment element on one project.

This is a great opportunity to join a stable contractor during growth, with responsibilities spanning from groundworks to handover. Strong safety, leadership and quality are essential.

Site Manager - Residential Contractor

Location: Eastbourne

Salary: Up to £70k

Arise Recruit is working with an established housebuilder, known for delivering high-quality homes and creating well-designed communities across the South East. With a strong pipeline of new sites launching and some large sites up and running, we are looking to appoint three Site Managers to join their growing production team.

The Opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity to join a respected, stable, and successful contractor at an exciting period of expansion. The business has multiple new developments due to commence, offering both immediate site leadership roles and longer-term progression opportunities. Projects range from 20 - 80 units, mostly all new build (traditional build), however one has a large refurbishment element in a listed building, so any relevant experience is desirable for that project.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all on-site operations from groundworks through to handover.
• Coordinate and manage subcontractors to ensure efficient progress and adherence to programme.
• Maintain site health, safety, and environmental standards at all times.
• Ensure homes are completed to warranty provider and company quality standards.
• Support and mentor junior team members (for Senior/lead roles).
• Build positive working relationships with technical, commercial, and customer care teams.

What We're Looking For

We're particularly interested in candidates who have demonstrated long-term, stable employment histories with other contractors and developers in the region, living within 45 mins of Eastbourne.

You'll bring:

• Proven experience delivering new build residential developments.
• Strong technical knowledge of new build housing.
• A focus on quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
• Excellent organisational and leadership skills.
• SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid certifications.
• Ambition to grow within a structured, supportive environment.
