Job summary

V3 Recruitment Ltd, on behalf of a premium house builder in Hampshire, is seeking a Site Manager to lead a brand new multi-phase development. The role requires coordinating labour, subcontractors, and materials while upholding NHBC safety standards.

Reporting to the Contract Manager, you will manage day-to-day site operations, ensure on-time delivery within budget, and maintain comprehensive project records. Salary up to £62,000 plus car allowance and an excellent benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience overseeing high-end/new-build developments.
• Building qualifications or degree required.
• Strong knowledge of building regulations.
• Full UK Driving Licence and right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day running of the site and direct labour and resources to meet project goals.
• Liaise with clients and attend site meetings with the sales team.
• Conduct weekly safety inspections and maintain NHBC standards.
• Coordinate procurement of materials and services to ensure timely delivery.
• Manage/subcontractors on site to meet deadlines and budget.
• Maintain accurate site records and project documentation.
• Ensure 100% customer satisfaction surveys.

Job description

Our client are a high end and quality house builder who are currently looking for a Site Manager to start a brand new site in the Hampshire area.

The site is a traditional build, multi-phased development with the first 2 phases consisting of 250 units, mixture of houses and apartments

This is a development that will be ongoing for years and will guarantee you years worth of longevity.

The salary is up to 62,000 per year + Car Allowance (depending on experience) plus an excellent benefits package.

You will be reporting direct to the Contract Manager

Key Responsibilities for the position include:

• Responsible for the day to day running of the site Manage and direct labour, equipment and resources to achieve project completion on time and within budget
• Be competent liaising with clients
• Carry out weekly safety inspections & maintain health and safety at all times in accordance to the NHBC standards Attend weekly site meetings with the sales team Liaise with the Buying and Surveying team to ensure timely procurement of materials and services
• Manage & Co-ordinate subcontractors on site to ensure deadlines are achieved Ensure compliance with safety policies and regulations
• Manage site teams and monitor performance, implement corrective actions as needed
• Liaise with other departments of the business and attend meetings when required
• Conduct site inductutions and tool box talks for new personnel
• Maintain accurate records of site activities and project documentation
• Ensure 100% customer satisfaction surveys

Key Skills & Experience required for the position include:

• At least 5 years experience as a overseeing a high end/quality new build developments
• Hold a professional or technical building qualification or degree
• Strong experience and knowledge of building regulations
• Excellent Communication Skills
• Ability to organise and prioritise
• SMSTS, CSCS & First Aid
• Full UK Driving License
• Right to work in the UK
