Job summary

Kenton Black is seeking a Site Manager for a permanent roofing project in the Midlands region. You will oversee pitched, tiled and flat roofing works and external scaffolding on occupied social housing properties, coordinating subcontractors and reporting to the Contracts Manager.

Experience in occupied social housing contracts is highly advantageous; you must be fully computer literate and hold CSCS, SMSTS and First Aid certificates. A van, fuel card, laptop and mobile phone are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience managing roofing contracts, especially on occupied social housing sites.
• CSCS card, SMSTS and First Aid certificates are required.
• Good computer literacy is essential for programme updates and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Manage roofing contract including pitched, tiled and flat roofs and external scaffolding.
• Lead daily management and coordination of subcontractors on occupied properties.
• Liaise with the TLO to schedule works across the Midlands region from Wolverhampton to Northampton.

Job description

Midlands based contractor that specialise within the social housing sector are looking for a Site Manager on a permanent basis to work on a re roofing contract with one of their key housing association clients. Reporting to the Contracts Manager you will be responsible for managing a roofing contract including pitched, tiled and flat, other aspects with the contract will also involve external scaffolding to the occupied properties. As well as the daily management and coordination of subcontractors you will also be responsible for liaison with the TLO in order to schedule programme of works taking place on properties, as this is with one specific housing association you must be prepared to work the greater Midlands region which covers across from Wolverhampton to Northampton. Salary will be upto 45k+van, fuel card, laptop and mobile phone, you also must be fully computer literate and hold a CSCS card, SMSTS and First Aid certificates
Due to the nature of works experience working on occupied social housing contracts would be a distinct advantage
