Job summary

Landmarc is seeking an operational leader to manage a site at Pembrey Sands Air Weapons Range, Burry Port, in Carmarthenshire. You will lead a multi-skilled team, ensure facilities are safe and compliant, and oversee service delivery for UK Armed Forces training areas.

The role includes workload planning, budget management and maintaining accurate records across operations, training, PPE and equipment, with a strong focus on health & safety and customer service.

Qualifications

• Level 4 qualification (or equivalent) in people management, operational leadership or facilities management, or relevant practical application
• Knowledge of Health & Safety, including risk assessments, COSHH and safe systems of work
• Skilled in planning workloads, managing resources and balancing competing priorities
• Proactive approach to problem solving, service improvement and operational delivery
• Effective stakeholder engagement and customer service skills
• Budget management and workforce planning capability
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and business systems, maintaining records and producing reports
• Full UK Driving Licence

Responsibilities

Join Landmarc and lead the delivery of facilities, training areas and operational services across the Defence Training Estate.This is a diverse leadership role where you'll be responsible for managing a site and overseeing a multi-skilled team and ensuring facilities remain safe, compliant and ready to support military training.This is an excellent opportunity for an operational leader looking for a diverse role with responsibility for people, facilities and service delivery within a unique environment that directly supports the UK's Armed Forces.
