Job summary

Randstad CPE is seeking an experienced Site Manager in Beverley, UK, to lead day-to-day site operations, manage subcontractors, and ensure works progress safely on schedule with top-quality build results.

The role requires a proven track record, SMSTS, CSCS cards (Black/White), and First Aid at Work, along with strong leadership and communication skills and solid knowledge of UK building regulations and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Proven track record as a Site Manager on large builds.
• Certifications: SMSTS, CSCS (Black/White), and First Aid at Work are mandatory.
• Up-to-date knowledge of UK building regulations and health & safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage all daily on-site activities to ensure smooth progress and handover deadlines are met.
• Coordinate, supervise, and direct direct labour and specialist subcontractors.
• Enforce rigorous health and safety standards on site at all times.
• Carry out quality inspections and snagging throughout the build stages.
• Ensure accurate site inductions, toolbox talks, and required site documentation are completed.
• Liaise effectively with project stakeholders, clients, and NHBC/building control inspectors.

Candidate Requirements

• First Aid at Work (valid certification)
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Up-to-date knowledge of current UK building regulations and health & safety standards.
