Job summary

2 Sisters Food Group Limited is recruiting for a Site Maintenance Operative in Willand, Devon. The role runs Monday to Friday, 7:00am–15:00pm, with hourly pay. You will perform general painting, carpentry, ground maintenance and assist engineers as needed to keep the site in good order.

The ideal candidate will have DIY experience, be able to plan their own workload, possess a clean UK driving licence, and work well both in a team and independently. Immediate starts are available.

• Ability to plan and organise own workload.
• Good English language understanding and communication.

Responsibilities

• General painting and carpentry duties as required.
• Assist engineers and electricians when needed.
• Maintain grounds around the site and assist with building maintenance.

The working hours for the position

Site Maintenance Operative are:

Monday - Friday 7:00am - 15:00pm

Rate of pay:

per hour

Job details include:

• General painting as and when required
• General Carpentry tasks as and when required
• To assist as and when required ensuring the grounds around the site are maintained
• As and when required collecting "parts" required by engineering from offsite
• General Building Maintenance
• Assist engineers/electricians when required

Qualifications

The ideal candidate:

• Has experience in a previous role of general DIY duties
• Able to plan and organize own workload
• Word unsupervised to the standard set by supervisors
• Good understanding of English
• Clean UK driving license
• Be able to work as a team as well as on your own
