Huge Small Victories

Being a maintenance worker in our school means being part of something big. You’ll be doing your bit to make sure the school building is a great place to be for our young people.

Get out what you put in

You’ll do all the general, day-to-day repairs needed to keep our school up and running, drive the school vehicles and keep them in good working order, as well as making sure the school grounds and garden are kept neat and tidy. You’ll also be a familiar, friendly face, which means our young people may stop to chat with you. We’ll provide you with training on child safeguarding to give you extra confidence!

One of the best environments in SEND

Hilden Park School is a purpose-built, state-of-the-art school catering primarily for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Asperger’s, and Speech, Language, and Communication needs. The school provides education for up to 72 children aged 8 to 16. This exciting opportunity serves Tonbridge and wider communities; you can be at the heart of its development. Our aim is to ensure every pupil has an outstanding educational experience with individual progress and care at the core.

What we do for you

We recognize your potential and reward your hard work with a competitive salary and benefits package in the education sector. You’ll have the chance to bring learning to life and make a real difference to our young people, plus enjoy these benefits:

  • Training: Full induction and on-the-job training
  • Holiday: 35 days holiday including bank holidays
  • Flexible benefits: You can adjust benefits like life insurance; check out our benefits here
  • Wellbeing: Access to wellbeing tools and employee assistance
