Join to apply for the Engineering Maintenance Assistant role at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust.

We are seeking a dedicated individual to maintain building structures, fabric, and finishes within the Community sites and associated buildings. The role involves supporting the Community Engineering Department and other directorates within the Trust, ensuring the effective maintenance of the Trust's building and technical infrastructure.

The post holder will:

1. Assist in delivering a multiskilled service to the engineering department.
2. Ensure compliance with health and safety policies and protocols.
3. Carry out daily maintenance and repairs on building and engineering plant, including fault finding on electrical motors and control gear.
4. Support in diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults, and instruct others as needed.
5. Work closely with engineering, capital development, and environment teams to ensure high standards of maintenance and safety.
