Chase Taylor Recruitment is seeking an Assistant Installation Manager for a bespoke glazing company, mainly site-based with travel to installations. You will perform quality control checks, inspect installations and produce QC reports to help Project Managers.

The role offers a clear path to a more senior installation management position, with a focus on quality, process adherence and collaboration with installation teams and management in Atherstone and on site locations.

Qualifications

• Experience in window, door, glazing, curtain walling or architectural installation.
• Understanding of installation processes and quality standards.
• Excellent written communication and report writing.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage site visits independently.
• Confident communicating with teams and senior management.
• Willingness to travel regularly to sites.

Responsabilités

• Visit installation sites and perform quality control checks on each job.
• Inspect completed installations to ensure workmanship meets standards.
• Produce clear QC reports for Project Managers.
• Identify recurring faults and report to Installation Manager.
• Monitor installation standards and provide site feedback.
• Collaborate with Project Managers and Installation Manager to maintain quality.
• Identify patterns indicating training or performance needs.
• Develop understanding of installation teams, processes and standards.
