Job summary

Chase Taylor are recruiting an experienced Installation Manager / Surveyor for a well-established home improvement company in Telford. The role is hands-on, overseeing installation teams and carrying out surveys to ensure work meets company standards.

You will liaise between site teams, customers and the office, manage on-site progress, and handle paperwork and reporting. Fenestration experience and strong IT and communication skills are essential, with a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

Experience in window/door/fenestration industry.
Overseeing installation teams or in installation management.
Surveying experience and product knowledge.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Strong problem-solving and practical approach to resolving issues.
Good IT skills and ability to complete paperwork.
Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

Overseeing installation teams on customer sites and monitoring the quality of work.
Carrying out surveys and ensuring jobs are ready for installation.
Working alongside installers and getting hands-on when required.
Checking installations are completed correctly and to the required standards.
Dealing with customers professionally and providing excellent customer service.
Identifying and resolving installation issues and finding practical solutions.
Reporting back to the office and management on job progress and any issues.
Completing paperwork, reports and relevant installation documentation.
Using IT systems to update job information, records and reports.
Liaising with installers, surveyors, customers and internal departments.
