Job summary

Humdinger Heckington is seeking an experienced HR Advisor to support managers and colleagues at our Heckington site, helping run the employee lifecycle and foster a positive people culture. This hands-on role sits at the heart of our manufacturing site and requires practical, pragmatic HR partnership with operations.

You will manage employee relations cases, support recruitment and onboarding, deliver engagement initiatives, and collaborate with the wider HR team to drive compliant,

Qualifications

• Significant experience in a HR Advisor/generalist role.
• Experience supporting organisational change initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law and ER.
• Site-based HR partner with operational leaders to provide hands-on support.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert HR advice and support to managers and employees.
• Manage employee relations cases including disciplinaries, grievances, absence and performance.
• Support recruitment, onboarding and employee lifecycle activities.
• Deliver employee engagement initiatives, wellbeing activities and communication programmes.
• Maintain HR systems, employee records and reporting data.
• Support organisational change, restructures and HR projects.
• Assist with training, talent development and succession planning.
• Ensure compliance with employment legislation, policies and ethical standards.
