Job summary

PepsiCo UK is seeking a Food Safety Manager for the Skelmersdale site. You will lead the Food Safety, Hygiene and Sanitation programmes, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive continuous improvement across quality and operations.

You will manage audits (BRCGS/AIB), incident investigations, and corrective actions, while developing policies and leading a culture of food safety excellence across the site.

Qualifications

• Experience leading Food Safety, Hygiene, and Sanitation at a manufacturing site.
• HACCP Level 4 qualification (Level 3 minimum).
• Experience supporting external audits (BRCGS/AIB).
• Strong problem-solving and stakeholder influence across levels.

Responsibilities

• Provide site-wide leadership for Food Safety, Hygiene and Sanitation programmes.
• Develop and implement food safety policies in line with PepsiCo standards and regulatory requirements.
• Lead audits, investigations, and corrective actions with root-cause analysis.
• Oversee Master Sanitation Schedule and sanitation improvements.
• Lead capital projects on food safety and hygiene initiatives.
