Job summary

PepsiCo UK is seeking an Operations Leader for the Skelmersdale site to drive delivery of QCDM targets across multiple production lines and warehousing. You will lead a team, manage the balance scorecard, and develop a talent pipeline for future leadership from within the site.

Responsibilities include setting direction, delivering AOP commitments, ensuring product quality and food safety, and collaborating with CI to implement core processes.

Qualifications

• Significant operational manufacturing experience & knowledge across products, processes and maintenance.
• Strong capability to lead, coach and develop talent with accountability.
• Ability to communicate credibly at all levels of the organisation, from shop floor to senior executives.
• Balance short-term supply needs with long-term strategic thinking.
• Broad understanding of end-to-end Supply Chain Operations.
• Understanding of financial processes (AOP, forecasting, cost of goods).
• Analytical skills with data-driven decision making (Lean Six Sigma).
• Experience with Integrated Work System (IWS) and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Set the direction, culture and standards for people and performance at the Skelmersdale site and ensure commitments are met by holding individuals accountable.
• Develop and deliver Skelmersdale AOP and productivity commitments through daily/weekly management of Operations performance.
• Deliver customer service through supply planning alignment and flawless execution of product changes (NPD, trials, promotions).
• Maintain product quality and food safety standards through operation/maintenance of production equipment and shift-based teams to audit standards.
• Promote and uphold the PepsiCo Way and evolving culture across the site.
• Manage performance of direct reports including PDR, ACE, training needs and performance management.
• Collaborate with Mfg Excellence and CI teams on IPS, Spark, Lean Six Sigma and other core operating processes.
• Ensure health, safety and welfare of 500+ employees and improve safety results.
• Oversee capital investments on production lines to support the site’s capital plan.
• Be a key member of the hub leadership team for Skelmersdale and Cupar and share best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-site Operations Manager network and support UK Operations strategy.
